The Show Business in Lucerna
Both Prague concerts completely filled the expectations of the audience. Helena was in top form as she performed well-known selections and new songs. She demonstrated her talent once again by performing on congas and percussion, dancing with her usual graceful style as well as giving her guests the opportunity to sing.

The concert, "The Show Business in Lucerna" was in commemoration of the greatest hits under the enthusiastic praise of the spectators, who also honoured the performances of Jitka Zelenkova and the group 4TET. The new songs from the CD "Zastav se (...a poslouchej)" were intertwined with the evening’s program and the duets of Helena and Jiri Kom set the crowd ablaze with feverish energy.

The Christmas concert The Christmas concert, "Zlata nedele s Helenou Vondrackovou" took place at the Zofin Palace on the last Advent Sunday as tradition goes. The hostess and her guests, Jitka Zelenkova and Miro Dvorsky, took care of the festive atmosphere of the evening. The world melodies and Christmas songs presented by the singers and accompanied by the Great Gustav Brom Orchestra kindled the festive holiday spirit and Christmas cheer within the audience.

43. International Sopot Festival The beginning of the concert season 2006/2007 for Helena was truly magnificent. As we have already written, Helena accepted the August invitation of the International Sopot Festival. She shared the Forest Opera stage with such stars as Demis Russos, Drupi and Karel Gott. Additionally, Helena serenaded the crowd with the lovely duet, "Malogska", with Maryla Rodowicz. The enthused audience applauded, danced and sang together with Helena with her renditions of hits such as, "A ty se ptas co ja", "Malovany dzbanku" and "Ja pujdu dal".

in the sport hall, The devoted loyalty of Helena's Czech fans was quite evident during the September performance. At the Litvinov outdoor concert, Helena's well-known hits were received with a warm and enthusiastic reception. The crowd already knew her unreleased song, "Ja vitam dest" (from her new upcoming CD) as they joined in with her to sing. The highlight of the evening came at the conclusion of the concert when the audience was entertained with a spectacular firework display.
This amazing show continued last week in the sport hall, "Pasienky", in Bratislava, Slovakia. Over 3500 fans were entertained with Helena's lovely voice and she was received with fervent applause. It was “deja vu” in Bratislava...as it happened in Litvinov, the crowd also loved the new song as they sang and danced together with their star.

Can the Prague fans expect a brilliant and breathtaking concert? Will Helena be the reigning concert queen of 2006? We can only anticipate sensational Prague shows performed by this concert entertainer. (Lucerna, November 8, Zofin Palace, December 17). When you get the chance...Have the time of your life....

   Dolly charmed Bratislava
January 28, 2006
information about the musical Hello, Dolly! “It was amazing. Thanks to all my colleagues and as well thanks to the wonderful audience. I am very happy and I am looking forward to the next performances.” Those were the immediate words of Helena after yesterdays´ premiere of the musical “Hello, Dolly!” produced by the theatre Nová Scéna in Bratislava.

Helena absolutely shined in the leading part of Dolly Levi. The enthused audience not only loved her singing and dancing, but as well her acting capability brought her repeated resounding applause from her fans. Together with her colleague Leopold Haverl – in the part of Horace Vandergelder – they performed several humorous slapstick jokes which ensued from the differences between the Czech and Slovak language. That is to say that Helena sings and acts -with a few exceptions- in Czech.
The whole show was a huge success and all performers were given long standing ovations from the audience.
